John Wall hit a crucial jump shot with under a minute left to play to help the Washington Wizards fend off the Atlanta Hawks, 103-99, and take a 3-2 series lead in their first round match-up in the Eastern Conference playoffs.
Wall finished with 20 points and 14 assists, and his jumper with 47 seconds left pegged the final score.
Wall responded with the clutch shot, however, and the Hawks were unable to recover as Paul Millsap misfired on the other end.
Bradley Beal top-scored for the home team with 27 points. Schroder had 29 points and 11 assists for the Hawks.
