MANILA — Dindin Santiago-Manabat could find herself out of the national training pool for women’s volleyball if her injury turns out to be a serious one.
Manabat twisted her knee during the Foton Tornadoes’ 5-set victory over Sta. Lucia in the Philippine Super Liga Invitational Conference on Thursday, according to Spin.ph.
Manabat, a former member of the National University Lady Bulldogs and sister of collegiate star Jaja Santiago, is part of the 25-player pool for the national team.
National team coach Francis Vicente and his staff will pick from the pool of 12 players who will represent the country in the coming Southeast Asian Games in August.
