MANILA, Philippines — TNT forward Troy Rosario has been added to the national team pool, two days after Gilas Pilipinas coach Chot Reyes announced an initial list of 12 PBA players — one from each team — to join the 12 cadets.
The agreement between the PBA and the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) required each team to lend at least one player to the national team pool.
"After getting clearance from TNT management and the PBA board, we are hereby adding Troy Rosario to the Gilas pool," Reyes announced Tuesday.

Rosario donned the national colors at the Southeast Asian Games and was part of the Gilas team that competed in the 2016 FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament last July.
With Rosario's inclusion, the Gilas Pilipinas pool now has 25 local players, as well as naturalized center Andray Blatche.
The current roster will debut in the SEABA Championship, which will be held in Manila on April 23 to 30.
